This piece for Choir, Piano, and Soprano Saxophone was commissioned by author Anne Baring to accompany her book. It was premiered on 8 November 2012 by the University of Denver Lamont Chorale, Catherine Sailer, conductor, with Laurie Kahler, piano, Bob Rebholz, soprano saxophone, in the Newman Center for the Performing Arts, and recorded in the same hall on 12 November 2012.
